Architects dropped their new single, “Doomsday,” out of nowhere along with a music video. As their drummer Dan Searle stated below, the song was originally started by his brother Tom Searle, but he never got the chance to finish it. As you’ll soon find out or already know, it’s utterly amazing. As a sonically jarring and lyrically profound release, “Doomsday,” follows flawlessly in the curtails of All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us. The video also features a beautiful energy with a lot of symbolism to be discovered throughout. About the track, Dan commented on Twitter,
Doomsday was a song that Tom had started but never got to finish. Completing it for him was a massive responsibility. I hope you all enjoy x
It’s an all-around thoughtful and chilling way to debut their latest, which you can check out below!
