Periphery have just released a making of documentary, “Remain Indoors”, for their recently released album, Periphery III: Select Difficulty.

Periphery explained in the video that they make music for themselves, not their fans. Never once have they thought, “The fans would like this” during the making of one of their records, because in the end, it’s all about what makes them happy. This go around they are continuing the tradition, as always, to stay true to themselves and do what feels right in the moment, for themselves, and for the band. In addition, hear how Periphery III is meant to be a technical evolution upon their last dual-album release, Juggernaut: Alpha and Omega. But, it also includes elements from both PI and PII to bring together the best of both worlds. It’s a classic case of remember where you came from, but never become stagnant; Change it up and challenge yourself. Some people may hate it, some people may like it, but who cares, in the end, for Periphery it’s all about whether they like it or not–And we should trust them, because they have awesome taste in music.

See all of the intricate details that went into this monster album. You can also catch appearances from Vigilante Coffee, sad Mark, and Jake raging at kids on PS4. Check it out below.
