This past Saturday night was one of the best shows I’ve been to this year! Rise Against performed for a SOLD OUT crowd at Minneapolis’ Skyway Theatre, bringing with them some of the most talented artists, Pierce The Veil and White Lung. Enough can’t be said about these two special guests. Having seen them on separate occasions, they were the perfect combination in keeping the wild energy and anticipation up for headliner Rise Against.

Opening the night with “Long Forgotten Sons,” Rise Against made their presence known. Packed to the brim, Skyway Theatre was overflowing with fans and crowd—surfing madness, with everyone singing along at the top of their lungs; It was a beautiful sight to be seen. Playing everything from new to old songs, even taking us back to 2004 with a signature favorite, Siren Song of the Counter Culture. Rise Against also gave us a few from their latest release, Wolves, the band’s already celebrated 8th studio album that was released earlier this year.

There’s something freeing about experiencing Rise Against live, which can be said about a lot of music I’m sure, but in this instance and in those moments, it was truly special. Rise Against’s US tour extends through the beginning of October before continuing their tour through Europe. These bands are an experience you can’t miss my friends, so catch them while you can!
