Experimental and prog legends OPETH have announced that they will be headed out for a North American tour this September through October. The Sword will serve as tour support. They will kick off the tour at Ozzfest/Knotfest on September 24th. The tour is also in support of their upcoming and 12th studio album release, Sorceress, which aims to grow off its predecessor, Pale Communion. An official release date has yet to be announced, but it is going to be released later this year.

Opeth’s willingness to evolve and progress their sound has skyrocketed them to be one of the most highly-acclaimed prog bands in the world, so this is a tour you surely won’t want to miss as it is expected that they will be playing both old and new tunes.
